Peace Labyrinth
There is a Peace Labyrinth next to Grateful Gardens in the lot behind our building. Elder Channin Daugherty is leading the project.
What is a Labyrinth?
The labyrinth is an ancient symbol designed for spiritual formation. There are many types, but all are patterned from the sacred geometry of the natural world (spiral and circle). They are not mazes.
There is no right way to walk the labyrinth.
For many, the inward walk is a path of release. Walkers consider what they need to release to be fully present. Once they reach the center, walkers may linger as long as they wish. It is a place where they may receive peace, wholeness, or a sense of assurance. The path out, or the return, is for considering how your life intersects with the world. It may provide insights about how you are to live.
